Teaching Trauma Informed Yoga Nidra
Teaching Yoga Nidra allows us to offer students deep nourishing rest, and to experience stillness in their mind.
In this 6 week online course, you will learn about and become proficient at the practices that lead us to the deep still brain wave states that characterize yoga nidra.
Strong Mind and Resilient Nervous System
In this practical course, we learn the basics of trauma, the hypervigilance and negativity bias of our nervous system, and how to regulate ourselves.
We get to know ourselves somatically (in our body). We practice tools to work with the uncomfortable sensations and energy that we’ve disconnected from. We use powerful tools to stay grounded in the safety of the present moment and to break the trance of catastrophic thinking.
The Stillpoint Method is a somatic mindfulness based inquiry practice that can be used in conjunction with your own methods of coaching and counseling.

Yoga Nidra 7 Day Practice Challenge
Yoga nidra is the only known way to rest the unconscious mind. It is a state of conscious sleep in which a person is both alert and deeply relaxed on a physical, nervous system, mental and emotional level. For thousands of years, meditation masters have used the methods of sleepless sleep (yoga nidra) to learn the secrets of the Self, to discover depths of sciences and arts, and to rejuvenate and heal themselves.

Breathing Week: a 7 day practice challenge
The autonomic nervous system will not allow us to relax our vigilance while our breathing is rapid and shallow, or while we’re holding our breath. Often accompanied by tension in our body, this breathing pattern sends a strong signal to our nervous system that we are in danger.
We can do practices to change this to allowing our breath to signal safety and make our neuroception (perception of safety and danger) more accurate.
Join us for Breathing Week: a 7 day practice challenge.
