Gender Fluid, Nonbinary, Queer

We are meeting in a different format May through September. If you would like to join us, please email and I will let you know more.

Let’s have deep conversation. We are exploring complex and nuanced experiences and questions. What does gender identity mean personally and in our culture at this time? How are we conditioned into the gender binary? How does present day culture define what a woman is or a man is? And will people ever stop using the grammar defense around pronouns?

What does it mean to self identify as a woman, a man, or to reject the gender binary completely?

What is this like across a range of ages, as a teen or younger adult compared to someone like me? I am70 and came out as a radical lesbian feminist in the mid 70’s when I was in my mid 20’s. We all have our story and our experiences.

How does gender identity and/or rejection of the gender binary relate to our sexual orientation and expression?

It feels like a essential-for-life to be in community around gender identity and we can strengthen that here with each other.

“This is my identity. I want you to see me. I know who I really am. And I don’t feel like a woman. And I don’t feel like a man. And I don’t feel minor discomfort when I’m mistaken for either. I feel dysphoria. I feel like a human being. And just like some people feel really grounded in their womanhood, and some people feel really grounded in their transness, I feel really grounded just being a human being. I am rejecting the binary.” E.R. Fightmaster

What does freedom look like? Let’s connect, inquire, explore, and share together.

We will begin with a somatic inquiry exploring the issues we are bringing forward. Everyone, including me, will break into small groups to share, then come back to the main group.

We’re meeting monthly at no cost. We are all the experts here and I would love to explore this in community. If you want that too, email to let me know and pass this along to your friends. lynnfraserstillpoint@gmail.com

In March, we explored the nuances of coming out around sexual orientation and/ or gender identity and how that changes and persists through time.

Our February inquiry: What if there was no gender or role conditioning?

Our January somatic inquiry explored our gender role conditioning.
