  • Stillpoint Method Guide

Trauma, experiences too intense to be processed in real time, is stored in the body. Slowly, gently, safely exploring that experience as an adult allows trauma to be safely processed.

“You can trust Lane. She is a brilliant facilitator, and is knowledgeable about trauma and “how it works”. She guides people to look deeply into core deficiency beliefs and release stored trauma. She is present, truthful and compassionate.” Lynn Fraser

Lane received a B.A. from the University of Windsor. Having completed a three year intensive training, she is a Stillpoint Method Certified Guide and is now a Certified Facilitator of the Kiloby Inquiries, a new model of recovery from suffering.

“I have met Lane almost weekly in the last 2 years. An hour before our call starts, my nervous system starts to relax. I know I can trust her. I can tell her everything and open up to her emotionally. Lane has been a true blessing for me! During those two years she has always been there for me. She’s an utterly skillful practitioner, but the best thing about her is what a wonderful, loving and compassionate human being she is.” Rolf, Germany

  • Transpersonal life coach

Hello and welcome. I am currently accepting new clients. Below is a preview of my attached website SutraRay.com based on Awakening Wellness as a Lifestyle, and Giving Change a Chance.

Through the modalities of Life Coaching, Hypnotherapy, Energy Medicine & Stress management practices, I will support you in navigating through life in a new way, awakening your true nature and discovering what thoughts are in the way of what you really want. We will look at invisible thinking; we will look at your habitual inner dialogue; we will inquire at how to look toward what is already stable and doesn’t change; and we will look at building a life that you don’t have to escape from!

The change work and individualized programs that I offer include:

    1) How to Un-Answer an Urge

    2) Healing Addiction (wine, sugar, shopping, smoking, bingeing, boredom eating)

    3) Releasing Reactivity (anger, blame, judgement)

    4) Weight loss with Heart (100 pounds or Covid pounds)

    5) Relaxing the Nervous System, (anxiety, grief, sleeplessness, shame, trauma, relapse)

    6) Integrating Wholeness as a Lifestyle into your everyday life

In my healing approach, I offer a fresh perspective in identifying and understanding the patterns of thought and feeling. Change doesn’t start with action. Your reality changes and behavior follows’ naturally. Feeling is energy moving through the body. How you experience that energy is determined by thought.

The work I do has changed lives. It is not based on willpower or strategy. When your perspective shifts to a heightened sense of awareness, change happens naturally.

As you begin to lean toward your deeper self — toward your humanness — and say “Hello, welcome, I’m here for you!”, you are giving change a chance. With this welcome you begin the journey of becoming intimate with who you are … your whole self, and your innate wellness. Lasting change happens from the inside out.

I invite you to read on, to be curious, to give yourself permission to meet long-held habits that have been calling you to wake up; to lift the veil of unconsciousness and awaken your wise and wonderful heart.

Please enjoy my website SutraRay.com, read the Testimonials and the Teaching Stories. If you feel a resonation, I’d love to hear from you. My contact page offers information on how to connect.

  • Practicum Counselling Services to be offered starting January 2025

Starting in January 2025, Dustin LindenSmith (he/him) will be entering the practicum portion of his Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. He will be providing mental health counselling services as a practicum student under the supervision of Dr. Ange Cooper, a Clinical Psychologist in private practice and an Assistant Professor with the Faculty of Medicine at Dalhousie University.

    Background and Therapeutic Approach

Like Dr. Cooper, Dustin has always been drawn to deep conversations with people about their emotions and their inner worlds. He also comes to this profession as an avowed feminist, husband, and queer-affirming father. Prior to entering this field, he has been a jazz saxophonist, an IT professional, a community volunteer, and a stay-at-home parent.

  • Hello sweet soul and welcome. With my passion to help people get unstuck and manage anxiety, I use somatics to help people center to life. By relaxing the body, regulating the nervous system, and healing the inner child, I help people create the life they want so they love living.

I help people rediscover the body as an incredible intelligence with somatic mindfulness and inquiry, somato-Reiki guidance, embodiment, empowerment, Qigong, yoga, and Reiki. I work with groups and in 1:1 sessions on the phone or on zoom and at Yoga Farm Ithaca.

In 2019, my body offered messages of illness and pain suggesting things in my life needed to change. The above modalities helped me speak up for myself, leave situations that no longer served me and heal from illness, burnout, and deep-seated ‘issues stuck in my tissues,’ including sexual trauma, hyper-vigilance, a mean inner critic, compulsive thinking, and core deficiency beliefs.

I left a 15-year career in academia as an ecology researcher and instructor as well as a long-term relationship to cut my own path. I went on to create the life of my dreams and I’ve never been happier. I continue to free myself from unconscious beliefs. If you’re ready for a change, I know you can do this too.

After experiencing the power and impact of somatics, movement, and energy work in myself, I now guide others to heal and free themselves as well. I would love to help you along your path, feel great in your body, and love your life!

I offer free breakthrough sessions or consultations.

  • Warm greetings and a heartfelt welcome! I'm Lisa, a Certified Trauma Informed Stillpoint Method Facilitator, Adler Trained Coach, and Somatic Stress Release practitioner.

It would be my honor to support you on your journey of healing and transformation. My passion lies in guiding highly sensitive people, especially those recovering from the lingering effects of burnout and developmental trauma, to reclaim their well-being and flourish in all areas of life.

Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or longing for a deeper connection to yourself? Together, we'll embark on a journey of self-discovery, exploring somatic mindfulness practices to compassionately unravel your autonomic fight, flight, freeze, fawn responses.

Through transformational coaching techniques, we'll unravel patterns of over giving, ‘overdoing', and self-abandonment to rediscover the wisdom of your body while widening your window of tolerance to respond consciously to life's inevitable stressors.

My own journey of healing began after experiencing full burnout in 2016. Years spent navigating high-pressure corporate environments, the challenges of high-needs parenting (including medical trauma) and the voice of a vicious inner critic left me feeling defeated, depleted and disconnected from my strengths and source of power.

Years of talk therapy and naturopathic care led me to Lynn Fraser’s Stillpoint Method for healing trauma. Through somatic mindfulness inquiry with Lynn, trauma-informed yoga with Alyson Raskin, and private facilitations with Lane Ledoux, I discovered my path to wholeness.

Today, I'm committed to helping others break free from cycles of self-abandonment, to be on their own side and reclaim agency over their well-being. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, maladaptive stress responses, or burnout recovery, I'm here to walk alongside you on your path to healing.

I offer personalized somatic coaching sessions designed to help you tap into your body's innate wisdom and create positive change in your life. Private facilitations are available at a special rate of $90 Cdn + HST, for Stillpoint members, with a limited number of "pay what you can” sponsorships available for those whose symptoms exclude them from gainful employment.

Additionally, I extend a complimentary 30-minute practice sessions to those enrolled in Lynn Fraser's Trauma-Informed Somatic Mindfulness Coach Training.

Ready to embark on your journey of healing and transformation? Visit my website to learn more about my offerings and to schedule your complimentary call.

I can't wait to connect with you!

  • Trauma has buried itself in our bodies.

Somatic Mindfulness Inquiry is a practice that enables us to discover theroots and ultimately free ourselves from unnecessary suffering.

Safely rooted in present moment Awareness.

    Inner freedom becomes available.

    Healing becomes possible.

A year and a half ago, I experienced one of the most traumatic losses of my life. I knew I could not get through this by myself and was looking for someone trained in somatic grief work. Denise’s method was a very gentle and effective healing modality that allowed me to access my deepest wounds without being re-traumatized. There were many “magical” transformations.”
